Questions about replayability / long-term motivation
Okay guys, I've just played the demo and I'm really impressed with the game. I think my friends and I will have a lot of fun with it.

What I haven't quite figured out yet is what about long-term motivation? Does the campaign have random or procedural elements, so that each playthrough is different? Will there be campaign DLCs that continue the story, or will there be different campaigns, each telling its own story? Will there be additional characters/classes?

Long-term motivation is a key factor in my purchase decision!

I can only answer a few, but:
  • There won't be procedural elements or random enemies, but enemies will be affected by the difficulty selected!
  • There are 6 characters but you can only use 4 at a time, so re-playing with different characters can change strategies in a lot of ways! Even with my favorites, I've never finished a mission the exact same way.
  • Each character can also have different relationships, have different builds with weapon/trinket/fate card combos, or even just party composition can change any mission.

That's all I can say for now as we're focused on our launch!

Mine as well!
I will likely grab this anyway because my gaming group has been wanting a Gloomhaving/Frosthaven 'Lite' and the mobile couch coop thing is wonderful. Now if Sony would just let me stream my damn PS5 on to Discord without having to also use Remote Play.

Anyway.... yes I'd like to know what the long term motivation is here. Or once we've finished the campaign and then run it one more time to make all the choices we didn't the first time... is that it? I've nothing left to do but try and solo harder difficulties? What do we look forward to after that?
