If the game won't start with Px::abort() message

Please try doing the following:
- Right Click on CastleStorm in the Steam Library, then press Properties
- On the Local Files tab press Browse Local Files...
- Delete the settings.cfg file
- Now start the game

That should help. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I cant find the "settings.cfg" file within the game's main folder , need another solution !

This happens on Ubuntu 22.04 with Proton 9.0 and GTX650, but it runs fine on our other account where the PC has a GTX1060 but the same software environment. This GPU (apparently) is 2 years older than the minimum Geforce 8600 but faster. There is no settings.cfg
