First Level is PITCH BLACK

I just got Ittle Dew. Tried to play the game but when the game starts, I can see the UI, but the rest is pitch black.
I"m assuming something is wrong..

this seems to be an issue with windowed mode! pressing alt + enter or going fullscreen from the config menu should fix it. dunno why after so many updates windowed mode is broken..
