if you're dogmatic you can also swear an oath and he'll give you a dagger that makes opponents to disengage provoking opportunity attacks if I remember it right

Black Signet of the Inquisition
This ring symbolises it's owner's closeness to the Lord Inquisitor, which inspires the owner's companions and adds weight to their orders.
The wearer gains +40 Persuasion and the Inquisitor's Tenet ability that can be used once per combat.
Inquisitor's Tenet grants:
+50 momentum
All common negative effects are removed from all allies.
All allies gain +(wearer's persuasion/7) temporary wounds +(wearer's persuasion/7)% armour, and +(wearer's persuasion/20) deflection until the end of combat.
