Can't unlock Case 1 Achievement

hey, so I'm now in Case 3 and really enjoying the game but I noticed that I never got the Achievement for finishing Case 1 (Aye, Aye Captain).

I got some other Achievements tho (for finishing case 2, completing puzzles, etc.).

Any ideas?

That's weird, it should have popped after completing. All I can suggest is doing it again. Steam will sometimes glitch which is probably what happened.

Now the other Ch 1 Achievement "Bruiser - Beat Cairns in a Fight" is only possible if you condemn him. If you absolve, you won't get it.

hey, i'm having the same problem with this achievement , for completing the first case, it won't unlock. So i've started a new game...finish the case, and again, didn't unlock (i did unlock the other achievement, bruiser, for beating cairnes, but not this one). So i wanted to know if Ops founded a solution for this, or if anyone else has the same problem? what can i do? do i continue playing the game and hope for the achievement to unlock itself later or what?

hey....found a solution...sort of...just updating this, in case ops or anyone has the same problem, this is what at least worked for me...So...as i said, played the entire case again...the achievement still didn't unlock...so i tough maybe it had something to do with a previous installation, because i had different files with different dates, in the same folder...so, before continuing the game i took my chances and uninstalled the whole game AND most importantly deleted the save games folders (wich is located for win 7 in Documents -- > My games -- > Sherlock Holmes - Crimes and Punishments. So i deleted the sherlock folder (After uninstalling the game from steam) and also deactived cloud storage for this game. (Keep in mind that in doing this, you loose all your progress in this game or previous games).
So then i installed (downloaded) the game again with steam. And started playing , again, the first case, this was the third time. Luckicly, when i reached the conclussion, the achievement unlocked, so it was worth it.
