Fat lady seen from Holmes' telecope!
Why has Sherlock Holmes placed the telecope in such a way that he can always see that fat lady opposite to his house whenever he peeks in?
Do they have a secret affair? The developers seem to have something weird in their mind doing this :)

This lady is from previous games. You can meet her in «Sherlock Holmes versus Jack The Ripper».

So who is she? Why does he need to observe her with a telescope all the time???

She is Dany Nutcracker, character of the game as I said above.
I don't know why we always see her on the telescope. Maybe, we will meet her in other cases or it is just developers' "joke". =)

It's most likely just an easter egg.

Is she the lady of all the perfumes in a previous game ?

Yes, she's the wrestler and "catnip lady" from the ripper case.

Hah :D She lived in Whitechapel area, she was a champion wrestler once, but after that she ran some sort of hotel in Whitechapel as well. Once she offered to Holmes "a ride on a big carousel". She hates cats. That is all I remember about her.
But she must be doing much better now if she's living on Baker Street! ;D

I really do not see why she still had to look so slutty if she lives in Baker Street, lol. Must be an easter egg or something like Stormwing said.
To answer your question about the affair - Sherlock wasn't particularly interested in women, or rather, in relationships. If you read all the original Sherlock Holmes books by Doyle you will notice it. And if I remember correctly he said something about it to Dr. Watson as well in one of the first books.

With the exception of "the woman," Irene Adler, of course.

I am also curious as to why she's always standing there, as if waiting for Sherlock to watch her? And if she's so keen on exhibitionism, either she has a point with being there, like "I'm watching you", but in that case she wouldn't be smiling, unless its an "evil" smile. Or if she had the hots for Sherlock, wouldn't she be undressing, or atleast be in her underwear? Perhaps the garment she's sporting is already considered "skimpy" for the time, seeing as that cleavage (however horrendous) is certainly there to catch the eye of the beholder.

It's an easter egg but yeh it's so wierd that Sherlock Holmes observes her through the telescope lol. I think it's also a joke about Sherlock Holmes inability to understand women as he mentions a few times through the game :)

I found this very amusing when I first noticed it too. I do recall her from the Jack the Ripper game and she was quite a character. Holmes must have a secret thing for big women lol. :golden:

I don't know... I've seen Watson looking through that thing at times. Maybe it's his doing! ;-)

Search "Watson Enlighten Me Then" on youtube, you will find the answer to the mystery ;)
