Report a translation problem
It seems that you are very early in the case and I don't want to spoiler anything. When you click on the ship logs, does the symbol show a white "?" and does Holmes say "The ship's logs of the Sea Unicorn for the years 1878-1884. Peter Carey was her captain"? If yes, then you are missing some steps. You have to interact with the ship's logs way later in the case. Don't forget to use your Sherlock Talent "T" and Imagination "F" to find hidden clues. Your notebook should tell you what to do next.
I have only finished the first three cases, but encountered no bugs so far.
