Brown and Purple Soul Orbs

How do you get these? I got back to the mainland and I'm doing the soul orb quests, but I didn't pick up either of these soul orbs. The book on soul orbs mentions these two so I assume it's possible to get them. Did I miss them somewhere or can I still get them somehow?

Those are just for lore, just like many other things in the game.

There is one more orb you can get in ending sequence but it's neither of those.

There are basically 5 orbs you can get before the ending sequence.
3 of them have optional fights and 2 just straight up upgrade the orbs without a boss on 2nd visit of their event.

Is there a use for the Key Item blank Soul Orb that we get from the Vault? I don't recall it ever having a purpose after we got it, though in Sheena's memory Sheena very clearly takes the other material needed to turn it into a real Soul Orb but I'm not sure how we'd get it ourselves.

If you mean dwarf king thing - it's one of conditions to get the curse related ending.
