Post-Release Update Plan
AtG is almost ready to be released, but that doesn't mean there won't be bugs and it certainly won't be perfect in terms of pacing, balance, AI, etc. So the plan is to release patches over the next several months on a fairly regular schedule:

• 1.01 ... 0-2 weeks after release ... Stability

• 1.1 ... 4-6 weeks after release ... Balance

• 1.2 ... 8-12 weeks after release ... Strategy + Mod Support

• 1.3 ... 5-7 months after release ... AI + Diplomacy

This doesn't mean support for the game ends after this, but the above is already set-in-stone and I want you all to be in the loop with regards to the plan. It's also possible things will change a bit, but if and when this happens I'll be sure to post here and let you know.

AWESOME, excited to try this out. The idea behind it, being nomads and moving towards a larger empire thats falling apart, timing when to settle and make your claim at some permanent land. This looks incredible and can't wait to try it out:)

Is there a beta or alpha for this? Like a site we can buy it on right now to get a steam key for later and access to it's presteam build?

Glad to hear you're looking forward to the game! The goal from the start was to really push what 4X could be, so it definitely feels different from past games.

I'm afraid access to alpha/beta testing has closed, mainly because it allows me to focus more on the game itself. Since I'm the only full-time person working on the game I have to be really disciplined with what I spend time on.

What kind of content are you planning to add under the "strategy"?

Strategic balance. I'll probably add a couple small features and tweak a lot of the existing ones in order to bring things into better balance with one another (e.g. Paths will provide more of a bonus).

The main thing I think needs to be worked on is improving the game AI, since currently it offers no real challange to the player, with the biggest challange coming amusingly from the enviroment than the other factions.

I'd like to say right now the interface is also a bit of a challenge to navigate. For example I cannot move the map while having the help window opened. Hope the UI is still being worked on.

Hi Jon :) Thank you for this game. Am very excited about it.

Only one major gripe though...PLEASE PLEASE sort the spawning next to Atilla farce. It's a total waste of time and is extremely frustrating. imho, this is a game breaker.

I've restarted three times only to get annihilated by his overwhelming starting army. Diplomacy doesn't work with him, you give him some gifts , he is ok with you and 2 turns later he attacks in force......Game over.....Start yet again !!
The game is already hard enough whilst we are all beginners. I don't want it easy, challenge is good, but this setup is ridiculous.

Is there a way in interface to see the current supplies a unit has?

I know the green on map means they are fine, yellow is they will run out but partial supply and red is none and huge penatly to unit lose of health etc.

But I don't see anything other then wether the flag above then is highlighted in green or red etc

I think this game needs many more quality of life and UI improvements as well. Just from the top of my head:

1. Sortable list of all your clans, sortable by profession, discipline, etc, and a button to locate the Clan on the map. I know that recent Civs have been weak in that regard as well. But when juggling 30+ clans it gets tedious to search for them on the map.

2. Much clearer communication of supply ranges

3. Better feedback when a unit is selected. I often rightlcik on a hex, and get the "note" popup because no unit was actually selected.

4. Caravan screen has the buy and sell buttons jumping around all the time. This is so obvious and annoying, how can this be still in the game?

Thanks everyone! I read every post and am adding things to my tasklist. I've opened a new, more comprehensive thread here.
