I wish this game about nomads involved more moving around
I wish our struggle was against a dying planet. I wish this game were set in the endless space universe. I wish less turns are spent waiting. I wish lategame didn't turn into a marathon civ game.

I don't wish for my money back, I did rather enjoy my time. I just feel like there are fertile pastures for this genre, if we're willing to settle further away from Civilisation. Right?

This is the first nomadic 4x game I think I've seen or played, but its definitely a subgenre with a lot of potential.

Yeah, I wanted to do more here but spent most of my design time on the clans, since it was important to instill the game with a feeling of progression. If you can imagine, the early version of AtG (up until about a year and a half in development) there were no clans or professions in the game at all. The migration was fun, but felt empty, since you were always moving and never felt like you were making any progress. The clans helped with this significantly, but required a lot of attention and I wasn't really ever able to come back and push the migration stuff even more.
