You need to equip the Hero Killer sword (this is the last title reward, and if you used it for crafting, you can buy it in a secret cave in the Sengoku DLC). With this sword you can oneshot Hero's shadow clones. To get money faster, you can use a portable statue of the Goddess from the first village and use it immediately after leaving the upper left cave to immediately restart the money collecting mission in this cave. You can also equip the Loan Break skill and take a loan.
