My honest review on what I played so far
The game is fine. It’s definitely NOT the Inspector Gadget game anyone wanted nor anyone needed. It definitely feels like the original cartoon and whoever is voicing Gadget is doing a decent job of the voice. The plot isn’t anything to write home about. The mini games again are fine as well (except for the wire cutting game. How are you supposed to know which wires to cut? Is it a game of luck?) , but you’ve probably played similar mini games in Mario Party and done better too.

It’s not the worst game I’ve played, but it’s not the best either. I’d give it like a 6/10

I was a little confused by the trailer footage, it shows Gadget going around town in what looks like an open world style game which has me thinking there will be combat and fighting..

But then I see a bunch of party style mini-games... Are those what the singleplayer mode consists of? Or is it more of a normal action game with fighting enemies, etc?

The open world hub is how all the mini games in single player mode are connected. You traverse through sections of Metro City and seek out the mini games.

this is one of the developers or some paid shill. This "game" is not a 6/10, there is nothing to do in the game except go from one NPC to the next and once you reach the NPC, you play a very bare bones minigame. The only thing in this game is a series of mini party games against 3 other CPU players. The story is non-existent, there is nothing really to see or do besides talk to the NPCs and start a minigame. I 100% in 1.5 hours. This is a cosmic joke. It's missing the game. I don't see what the point of even making this was. Everything is bad from the voice acting to the graphics. There's one song. or maybe 2 I can't remember, maybe a different song plays during the minigames but that's it. I went exploring everywhere which is where the other half hour went. You can easily 100% the game and then refund it.

damn, i'll take your word for it i guess. i did download it from but i always have an issue with some titles like this one not having display settings. it goes 32:9 but everything is cut off with no option to force the game to 16:9. guess i ain't missing anything though if its just mini games. i'll probably try it on ps4.

Just play the 1993 Inspector Gadget game on Super Nintendo from Hudson Soft. It's a solid game.
