Missing a Luma egg

Is there an easy way to tell which temples and shrines you have completed? I am missing a single luma egg and can't for the life of me work out what I have missed. I really don't want to run every temple again. Cheers.

Aw that sucks, I can't face running every temple again and checking all shrines as I thought I'd done them all, but obviously missed one. I've no idea which it could be. It took me a long time to do them all, so it would be nice if we were given quests to complete the temples and shrines in each area, so you could easily identify the area something has been missed. This would make a nice QoL feature. The article doesn't help because I thought I'd done all of them, so no idea which one it is I've missed. For now I won't finish the game, because I wanted to place all the Lumas and have one missing.

from ive read on wiki eggs are random in chests so their is no way knowing which chest /egg with out goign each every one of them. if not fan of the temples/dungeons can do 2 things (new to game but noticed this ) the pet store might have it idk if they change or set 4 the sell . and 2 do the easier temples and worst case its in harder ones?

The pet store only sells eggs you've already collected. I could rerun temples but honestly, I've spent hours in the game now and feel like i'm done. Just seems an oversight that there's no way to establish which areas aren't fully finished. That's all it would take.

Place them in the temple that uses the 4 keys? If you made it that far then you couldn't have missed any temples, other then the one on the farm. If that's the case you are missing one from another source, like one of the shrines in a area.

Place them in the temple that uses the 4 keys? If you made it that far then you couldn't have missed any temples, other then the one on the farm. If that's the case you are missing one from another source, like one of the shrines in a area.

Thank you, yes, I placed them all but 1. I'll recheck farm temple and shrines.

This was super helpful; I was able to determine I had missed a single gem in the forest shrine, after realising all my temples must be completed. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I was able to finish the game ♥
