Agreed, my family likes playing games together. We definitely won't be buying four copies, but we would love to play all together, just like how it works in stardew Valley.

For now we won't support split screen. We did investigate this topic and had prototypes but for now we are focusing on just being able to release a solid experience in normal multiplayer. If we didn't reduce scope we wouldn't have finished what we did until now.

I hate that "normal multiplayer" is considered as online only. I miss the days when you could play together and be together.

Nothing beats couch co-op games. 😃

The sad truth is that couch co-op is a lot of work and sometimes not possible to implement due to technical constraints in some games.

We'll probably investigate how feasible it would be to implement this feature in the future but no promises...
