Hi there! Thanks for taking an interest in Luma Island! Here is a quick list of common questions we get asked. If you would like more detailed info or just want to chat, feel free to drop into our Discord

• Will controllers be supported? - Yes of course!

• Are there any other platforms confirmed yet? - As of this moment, only Steam is confirmed for launch this year. Stay tuned for other platform announcements in the future!
  
  
• Will I be able to play Luma Island on my Steam Deck? - Definitely! We aim to have it Deck verified on launch!
  
  
• Will there be local co-op on launch? - Unfortunately not at launch, we have focused a large amount of our efforts on getting online co-op ready this year. This may change post launch so stay tuned!
  
  
• Will there be a demo before launch? - We are planning on having a demo that will be ready before our launch date. Stick around and listen out for announcements on the Discord.
  
  
• Is there any combat in the game? - This is not a combat focused game but there are elements of combat based on which profession you pick and what content you prefer to play.

Will the demo save games be able to be carried over to the full release? Loving the demo so far but don't want to put too much time if I will have to restart.

Can you change professions (like in Fantasy Life)? Or are you always going to be one profession?

Will this release in November as full release or will it be early access. I see You already have dropped Local COOP for later - what do You mean by local coop? Like 2 players split screen? Or local server and just me and someone?

When I went back after I picked one it looked like you can buy another profession for 500 coins. Not sure if it repalces or if you get multiple tho

Hi, you can check out their Discord for the answers but here's a summary for you:

1) Full Release, they do plan on updating the game with more stuff.
2) Local Coop is not in the cards for them now (they answered this in another thread) but the discussion was about two players split screen. Again though, it's may be considered sometime after release
3) You can buy all the professions. The first is free, the second is has cost and each subsequent profession costs more. You can technically master ALL 7 of them in one playthrough.
