Is there an easier way to get charcoal?
I think I need 2 twigs to get 1 charcoal and I need so much charcoal to make 1 moon store bar, and I need so many moonstone bars for tool upgrades and just for things like fixing the boat so is there an easier way to get charcoal or do I have to spend hours chopping down bushes to get a couple twigs back? And I don’t have a lot of money before people suggest buying it in one of the shops as they probably charge 100 coins for 1 piece lol

Go mining. Seriously, in the later caves and with higher grade picks you get A LOT of coal.

unfortunately not at this time, maybe with future updates, hard to say. I'm always gathering twigs and trees when i'm waiting for things to get done. I will go through a couple of thousand twigs in a few hours of game play. You can buy the fuel, however you can only get 100 at a time.

This

With maxed pick I'll go into a mine until I get at least 100 volcanic rock and come out with around 2K of charcoal. per run.

Yeah but I haven’t got to the jungle area yet so I only have just got moonstone tools and I need so much moonstone for other things I’m trying to upgrade my tools but it’s just charcoal needing 8 pieces per 1 bar of moonstone so that means I need 16 twigs and it’s just quite time consuming to spend days in game chopping down bushes I will try the mines but the best mine I can get to at the moment is the mountain mines

Mountain mines are fine. Moonstone tools are fine, they'll get you plenty more than if you were digging in the farm or forest. It will be better than trying to chop trees and shrubs. You'll also be able to get more moonstone ore and gems while you're there.

You get 10 charcoal from a single "ore" in the mountains, sometimes more. It's 12 in the jungle, so only 2 more, but in the mountain it takes less hits to mine it.

I am taking inside the mines, but required alot of too. Its a problem, especially with the endgame, becouse some buidings and upgrade each tool need 50~100 of metal bars (800-1600 charcoal). I sugest you try take some inside the mountains or jungle dungeon.

With multiplayer it's even worse, lol. I'm curious how long these "single runs" are people are talking about where they come out with so much of these resources and what those runs looked like to get the max level pick axe.... better yet, I'd rather not know, lol. But nah, no easier way at all. Just got to grind it out. Slow and steady and all that.

I find the charcoal grind for blacksmith / jeweller much worse than the gathering required for any other profession (I have 'em all). That said, an upgraded pickaxe in the Jungle mine is indeed MUCH faster than the deforestation and burning I did earlier in the game. Of course the charcoal needed doubles each tier so the grind is still there.
