Hi.

Earlier this week, we were made aware of crashes occurring on PCs that don’t that meet the minimum requirements (i.e. 10,000 PassMark points or more = a 9-year old Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card or better).

Some recent examples included Intel Iris integrated graphics chips and very old Nvidia 940MX graphics cards. They only have between 1500 and 2600 PassMark points.

I know it's annoying that Luma Island doesn't run on every PC out there but it's sadly a lot of work to support low-end hardware for a small team like ours and we have to draw the line somewhere.

That being said, we think we found a way to fix the problem on the affected chips/GPUs so we released an update yesterday that hopefully should resolve the crashes near the cable car, provided that you download the update.

If you press ESC in the game, it should say V1.19559 in the lower left corner.

If you're still experiencing crashes in the latest version, I'd be grateful if you could please create a new ticket over here:

This goes for all graphics cards of course. Not just Intel Iris chips + 940MX GPUs.

Hi,Unfortunately, I am sorry to report that this update had no effect on my RTX4070ti card.
When I go to town in ultra quality, the game exits.

yes the same with the Intel Iris integrated graphics chips (which we cant update). Crashes almost immediately now, even with everything on very low settings
So sad after playing for 50 hours
