When and How Does Luma Island Save?

I'm afraid to exit the game on my Stewmdeck because I don't want to lose the progress I made. So, when or how Does Luma Island save the game? I love this game by the way but I will give up on it if it doesn't save all my progress.

I'm pretty sure it saves when you quit. Like most games, once you exit the game, it updates the cloud or what not. I tried to look up info on this, but found nothing, so.. this is just my assumption since most games work this way. lol

Yeah every time you exit the game it saves.

Every day at 8AM it auto saves.
When you click on the bed to "sleep" it also autosaves.
Otherwise, when you click "quit", it will auto save at that point too.
