Flowers from different zones are too scarce.

After the flowers are discovered can they be bought?

upgrade your hoe and use that to collect them,. the "luck" perk will give extra flowers/fruits as you level up. the final hoe can give up to 4 extras each. I have so many flowers Ive never had to buy them but you can buy them in town and from the mushroom vendors

To clarify who the mushroom vendor is in each area, on the other hand, "The Witches Shop" top left of The Town also sells each type of area flower and mushroom. For anyone who may be wondering.

To clarify who the mushroom vendor is "The Witches Shop" top left of the town. For anyone who may be wondering.

Im pretty sure they were referring to the mushroom man who is a vendor in every biome and accepts the biome specific tokens as a currency (who also sells the flowers and other biome specific items)

True, but it is easier to buy it for gold all in one place. Then the area tokens. I'll edit it anyways.
