Stuck on loading screen

Can't start my first save file any more.
If i start the game with a new save game i can run it.

Is there someway to fix my first save file? :(

I ran into this issue after the latest update. Here's what I did:

I was able to run my last save file by A) making a backup of my latest save files at the address above, B) turning off Steam cloud saves, C) restarting my computer, D) starting a new game in the same slot and letting it run to day 2, then E) pasting in my backup saves into the directory after renaming them to replace the existing files - "slot_0.sav2" and "slot_0_header.sav2". After turning off cloud saves the save location is "Users>(your name)>AppData>LocalLow>FeelFreeGames>Luma Island>Saves" instead of "Users>(your name)>AppData>LocalLow>FeelFreeGames>Luma Island>Saves>(Steam random number folder)".
