Free range animals
so i know there are some animals that do things for you like keep bugs and weeds out your fields my question is do i need a fence on my farm or can i just let them free range and they will still do it then ?

they will still do it they just might take longer to do it if they wander around

so best thing is to set off a part of the farm with a fence

I've noticed a fox will come and try to eat at least the hens (maybe the rabbits as well), unless you protect them with a fence.

I think the game is too kind for that )))) but I have noticed that the chickens hide in the house from the fox if there is no fence

goats are actually designed to be free range to scare away the foxes :)

Id only fence those if you want to feed them regularly for goat milk.
