Hi hope it’s not a stupid question but how do you get to forest early in the game thanks

fix the bridge leading to it and then go there.

you can do that as soon as you can afford buying the beams from the woodwork shop.

For reference, the bridge is immediately to the right after entering the town.

There is actually a pretty large signpost with a tree symbol on it pointing in that direction if you look around the area where the road branches off.
