Can't talk to NPC at Town Hall

The green sparkly trail leads me to the NPC at the Town Hall, but when I get the prompt to left click and talk, I left click and it does nothing. This is the early quest 'Visit the Town Hall to begin your new life.' HELP???

The Steam Community is not very well suited for providing support.

What a strange response. Why would solving a bug need to be private? And why do you assume Mel has Discord?

Mel: I sometimes get non-responsive NPCs too. The workaround is to simply restart the game.

Devs are selling a game on Steam. Forums should be used for basic support and bug reporting. Failing to do that you open yourself up to more people refunding your game and leading to negative reviews. A lot of people have Discord, but not everyone does or wants to have another app outside of Steam just for a question to be answered.
