Forest mud swamp

I got through the long first one okay, but the small second one that looks like it leads to cliffs or a beach, I'm not sure how to make it across before I drown because the second plank is so far away. Any tips?

If you're talking about the one right next to the first mud pit then its all about timing but once you get to the second part where the boards are just floating there look to your left when you go through the narrow passage and there is a rock to your left.
