We don't have any plans to make a Mac version any time soon but thanks for the suggestion.

I saw that someone is playing Luma Island on their Mac using CrossOver though.

Generally most games has a 0.02% Mac user ratio, and takes immense amount of work to make it work, so most devs won't make separate client as it's never worth it financially. Too much dev time for the above %.

I also would love a Mac version for this game. Most game engines today make creating ports easy. The dev's would only need a mac computer for testing and debugging. Or offer a "Beta" release where the players could submit bugs if any in the official mac builds of the game. I use to game on PC. However my main work computer is now a Mac and I mostly game on console. (PS5 & Switch) So if the devs decide not to release the game on Mac. Please consider porting the game to consoles. Personally I believe this would be an amazing release on Nintendo Switch.

I would love a mac port too! I bought this for the deck and play when I travel, but would be lovely to play when Im at my desk too.
