And what you're seeing are dark stripes from trees and bushes?
If so, one of our players figured out a work around that has solved this problem for a few other players.
DISCLAIMER: We can't officially recommend this method because it's for unsupported hardware - and because it converts all DirectX commands to Vulcan commands so this might wreck other things in the game.
If you want to try it out anyway, I'll leave a link here:

I can confirm the download has fixed the issue :) - thank you for your help :)
Well, as I wrote earlier, this glitch is a known issue if you're using an unsupported AMD integrated graphics chips rather than a dedicated graphics card.
The minimum requirement for Luma Island is a dedicated graphics card with at least 10,000 Passmark Points - which is the equivalent of an 8-year old Nvidia GTX 1060 graphics card.
The workaround that the player discovered converts all DirectX commands to Vulcan commands. That's a huge change and this might wreck other things in the game. For that reason, we can't officially include this as a fix in the game. I hope you understand.
Glad to hear that. Would you mind letting us know if you spot any new graphical glitches in the game after you added the files?
Example:

If so, this was a known issue that affected certain unsupported integrated graphics chips (e.g. Intel HD and AMD RX Radeon chips) that did not meet the minimum requirements for Luma Island.
Since then, we fixed this issue and it should only occur on those PCs if the latest driver hasn't been installed.
If you're still seeing this on your PC, I'd be grateful if you could please contact us via the link below so we can take a look at your PC specifications (just ignore the instructions to upload your save file on that page).
Thanks. 🙏
