Is this a grind fest?
I am kinda done with grinding, but like adventures. I like Dinkum in the sense of open world adventure, but still not digging the grind there either, except I am letting it give it a pass cuz it does have a decent amount of content, and every day in-game feels just as new at the stage I am in the game.

I am wondering how much grinding is in this game, and how much of it is in the way of progression. All in all, How much content does the game have so far?

Also, does the game also come up with shiny mons like in pokemon, you know the rarer colour variants?

It is an absolute GRIND FEST and it's probably one of the worst types. First off trees/rocks takes like 8 hits and only give you 1 per. There's like 5 copper tiers and by the time you're at the last tier, go to a new area it takes 8 hits again to get the new wood/ore. There is a main story but it doesn't guide you super well, this game is meant to be explored by the player and doesn't hand hold you. There's like 4 areas including the first and it's repetitive, getting new resources that's just a reskin of the previous area. I'm 7 hours in, having fun, but the tool issue is absolutely ridiculous and making it not as fun as it should be. It just feels so slow to progress where it feels painful. And no there are no shiny variations, more luma pets are coming in the future but no variations yet
