Cannot choose to play in english

When game starts up on the home screen all the options to choose are in an Asian language. It’s not in English. I tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. I asked Steam for a refund and then bought it again and it’s still having the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used Google Lens on my phone to translate because I had the same issue, and it helped. I chose Chinese as my primary language on accident. I had to skip the tutorial, then started the game until I could change the language settings in the game. If you can't use google lens I recommend starting the game, making your character in the language that it's in right now and then once you're done skip the tutorial. After hitting the escape bar on your keyboard, it should bring you to the menu. The third button on the menu should be options. After you press the third button another screen is going to pop up. Press the first button on the screen that should be labeled game (in whatever language you choose), and it should take you to a second pop up. On the second pop up press the first button again and you should see English written under all the other language options. If you want to do the tutorial, I recommend deleting the current character and starting over.

So, if you messed up and clicked the wrong one, like I did and selected Thai, once you are at the menus, click the third option on the list/blue boxes, then the first option, and then the first option again. It will then present you with all the languages. Again, select the one you want to use, then hit enter, and it should be fixed.
