P.S. i forgot to mention that the upgraded tools will not get better or faster, still one item per "harvest".
I was so confused when I started up and it didn't ask me what mode I wanted to play, I thought since cozy mode was in the demo they would bring it over to the full game, but I guess not...
I think it's the one hit kill on the player that makes it horribly unfair, in my opinion. If I can't kill them in one hit then they shouldn't be able to kill me in one. The bats would be fine though, they just knock stuff out of your inventory from what I've seen, frustrating, but manageable.
There is now a mod on Nexus to completely turn off the ghosts/spiders. The only "combat" I've seen after using this mod are bats. The modder said he would be adding to the mod in the near future. Works great!!
Not going to start looking into mods (and if or how I could get them to work on my Linux system). I'll rather play games that actually want me as a target audience.
