Can we have a setting with no combat in the mines? The ghost are as scary as spiders and if you are wanting to just farm in the mines you can't see them that well.

Oh yes, that would be wonderful.
Farming and fighting don't go together and spoil the fun.
Despite the whip, I die immediately when a spider attacks.

The bears you cant kill, just run away they stop chasing after a bit, They are actually pretty easy to avoid.

Once you get upgrades rolling in, the difference that a maxed out whip in that tier does versus a basic whip is pretty significant, reducing the amount of strikes to only three hits to kill any enemy in that zone. Once you've gone above that tier, you can one shot anything in the previous tier.

However, this is also why the game tells you to max out your equipment tiers for exploration and gathering before entering a new zone, because otherwise you won't have enough tool power to affect anything.
