I think it'd be better if random customers had less specific requests.
Right now, a customer asks for a highly specific item, and that's the only thing you can offer them. I think it'd be an improvement if the system was reworked somewhat - customers describe what they want, but they'll accept different goods and pay differently based on close it is to what they want - this can extend to only wanting a particular piece, or a complete set, or a piece attached to anything, but also stuff like "any mask" or "any ring" or "any (complete) dagger" or similar, and you can drill down to see what would be their preference.

Either way, love seeing this grow.

if it was as an addition, some customers, then yes, not a replacement

My thoughts as well. Currently the requests are specific, but you can tack on other random stuff for the "Stranger" customers since they all say "any old way". I feel a little bad making them pay hundreds of gold when all they asked for was a bent nail handle, but that's business baby! XD

I was thinking this as well, Maybe if we don't have the specific item they want they might want something else instead.

Actually, i am overloaded with things that customers don't want. i don't know what to do with this.

Purchase the "Pay What You Can box" upgrade for the customer window. (You can upgrade the number of spots in the box later.) Plonk the extra stuff in there, and people will give you money for it overnight.

The overnight prices aren't always consistent or a lot (bedpans appear to be in high demand, and people will pay well for those) but it gets stuff out of your store.

Half the fun is in sticking random stuff together and seeing what people will pay for it.

Thank you for this advice, i will check this. I must admit that, except the upgrade in the workshop, and the recycle tool, i did not made much.

You'll be pleased to know that between now and 1.0 we'll be improving the customer systems with a huge change that will have the random customers asking for a much more varied set of items, from super specific to much more carefree/broad which should provide much more variety in play, and also let you have a bit more creative fun in how you fulfill some customer requests.
Thumbs up emoji. I enjoy the core of the game and wish to see more built around it.
it can be like a want any type of ring or any type of pots or any kind of masks :)
