Item "vanished into the void"

First off: I am really enjoying the game. I do have a problem with putting things on the shelf... I planned to put a lamp on the shelf near the shopkeepers desk and it was rotating a good way and it was clipping into the shelf (which happens a lot). I decided to remove it completely to my Stash but it "fell" from the shelf between the desk and wall and never returned to storage... gone forever I assume into the void. I had a piece fall off the front of my work bench but was able to recover it from the floor, and the ones that fell from the display stand in the corner just returned to the stash but the one that fell off the shopkeepers table was MIA and after many days I have given up on ever recovering it.

Also as a fellow "fixer of things" I was wondering if there would be a "paint" or recolor option in the future... I'm not sure if that would be difficult to add in or even as a DLC later but I enjoy fixing and painting to refurbish items so thought it would be a nifty thing to add... you know something so all the pots wont be copper and patina? or maybe someone wants a green glass eye? Just a thought.

As for the vanishing items, apologies you've experienced that. We've put out a number of hotfixes since you posted this which address these sorts of issues, but if you haven't started a new save file since posting this then I'd be keen to get hold of your save files and do some investigating. Details of how to get those to us can be found in our troubleshooting guide

I just picked up the game today, and I'm loving it -- the only bug I've had is this one! I had a human mask with a nature charm on it, tried putting it on a shelf at the back of my personal area, and it fell off the shelf never to be seen again

Oh no! Sorry to hear about that! I know you'll have checked the Stash for it, so it's obliviously gone walkies elsewhere. If you could get your save files to us we might be able to do some debugging in the editor which may help us narrow this down. Details of how to get these to us can be found in the troubleshooting guide

I just got this game two days ago and I am also having this problem. My stash show that there are more items in available slots and I can't see anything that I have dropped.
