@pukekiller (it's hysterical the things I have to type in this job) - yes, it's a remaster of the original Wasteland, similar to a remaster project we currently have going on with The Bard's Tale Trilogy. You can get a taste of that here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/inxile/the-bards-tale-iv/posts/2188974 and obviously we'll share more on the WL1 remaster when we can. It's an ambitious undertaking, and we're looking forward to getting it to fans.
Dohi64 Jun 11, 2018 @ 11:40am
why isn't this a complete your collection bundle? I already own wasteland 1 and 2 (dc as well), why pay 34 eur for the digital extras and the wasteland remaster?
Dr. Faustus Jun 11, 2018 @ 11:49am
Because they haven't finished it yet, that's why :steamfacepalm:
Dohi64 Jun 11, 2018 @ 11:57am
what does that have to do with anything?
76561198827547584 Jun 11, 2018 @ 11:59am
Hi Dohl, you'll definitely have the ability to purchase the WL1 remaster as its own thing once it's out.
1stReaper Jun 11, 2018 @ 12:03pm
wait im a little confused cose of dohi's comment.

do those of us who own WL1 and WL2 + and WL2:DC need to buy 30th year edition?
76561198827547584 Jun 11, 2018 @ 12:06pm
Hi Reaper, yes. The remaster is a new product, currently available to pre-order as part of the 30th Anniversary Bundle, but once it's out, it will be available for those who already own all the other products to purchase.
Dohi64 Jun 11, 2018 @ 12:07pm
no, you'll be able to buy it separately later, it's just weird they didn't do a complete your bundle thing.

and it's also slightly misleading when they say 'it will also be added to the libraries of customers who purchased the bundle at no additional cost'. why would there be additional costs if you already paid for the bundle?
WarYore Jun 11, 2018 @ 12:07pm
As someone who owns Wasteland, Wasteland 2, and Wasteland 2: Director's Cut, I really hope there is a way for us to get WL1 Remaster and the new content for WL2 without having to rebuy everything... again....
76561198827547584 Jun 11, 2018 @ 12:09pm
@WarYore - There is, see my comments to Dohl and Reaper.

@dohl - you're right that it's a bit redundant, but we've found that it's good to reinforce that point for customers as a kind of double-check for them.
WarYore Jun 11, 2018 @ 1:26pm
Just so I'm clear. There's no way to preorder anything other than through the bundle. But people who already own one or more of the games should *NOT* order the bundle, because they will be rebuying things they already have. However, the stuff that is not yet available will be available to purchase seperately at a later date.

This would be a LOOOOOOOOT clearer and easier if you just made a "Complete your Bundle" version for people who already own things. I mean, that's going to be MOST of the people who are interested in Wasteland 1 Remastered.

Unless, of course, you are hoping that people will rebuy the same games again so you can get more money from them.
