Saves not showing up - workaround
There is currently a bug where none of the saves show up if even one of them is missing (specifically missing the .xml file or possibly having an empty .xml file). We're working on fixing this, meanwhile try this workaround (with thanks to dungeoncrawl)[wasteland.inxile-entertainment.com]:

1) Go into your Documents\My Games\Wasteland2\Save Games folder
2) Double click on all your saved Game folders until you find one that has no data in it. It's specifically looking for a .xml file.
3) Delete that specific folder (or folders), the one with the missing save game files
4) Restart Wasteland 2 and your other saved games will re-appear.

Savegames suddenly missing?
Been playing along in the latest 29462, had no problems. Quit the game last night, logged in this morning and no longer have any savegames. I started a new game, went to the load menu, still no saves. Started a new game and saved, saved successfully, then went to load and still nothing there. The saves are still in my Wasteland2 Savegame folder in my docs. Thoughts? fixes?

First, apologies for resurrecting old topic but this one is one among to search results when it comes to missing save games.

On top of solution provided by Brother None, two more things to check/do if your save games are missing:
- in Save Game directory delete TOC.txt (it will be recreated when game starts)
- if still saves are missing (or missing only in load but they are listed in save dialog), re-check if difficulty in settings is same as You played before; if it's different then save difficulty, that save will not be displayed in load dialog.
All my .xml files are gone. My save folders are there, but the .xml files have just vanished. I used a laptop to show the game to a friend of mine yesterday, on my own steam account. I didn't save on his laptop, I just showed him a few minutes of gameplay and exited. That's the only thing I can think of the moment, that can possibly have made this problem occur.

I know this is an old topic but if you do everything as stated above AND delete your TOC file (mine was blank) they will show up (providing you have xml in first place).

I was getting the star searching on load and continue on title screen even after deleting dead folders. Noticed my TOC file was blank..... so I deleted it as well... And bam. I am loaded back up where I saved last.

I can confirm that deleting the 'blank' TOC worked for me as well. My power tripped while playing and had the spinning stars over Load and Continue in the menu when I got back into the game. All save folders had their xml files, just needed to delete the TOC file and restart. Thanks jdsrated!

Deleting TOC doesn't help me. I still have the spinning star
