Toaster Repair: How do I use it?

So, I found a toaster, and one of my party members has the toaster repair skill. But I have no clue how to use it on the toaster. It is in the skill list, but not on the hot bar. Anyone have an answer for this?

To put an item or skill on the hotbar, right click an empty slot and select the skill/item you want in the slot. From the hotbar click on toaster repair, then the toaster. I've found two so far. Didn't garnish much from the first and the second my skill was too low.

Too bad Toaster Repair is pretty much useless at the moment. I think they didn't implement proper loot tables yet, because the stuff you find in toasters is just some random junk you find in containers.

Same problem. I have Hex in my group and I added level 2 toaster repair and she cannot repair the first toaster in the cave near the radio tower on the first mission.

btw you can also use the toaster repair outside on the radio tower, that or the tech skill or heck even the computer skill works on it.

Created a hotkey for the toaster repair and then tried it on the toaster in the ranger citadel and no luck. Hex is up to level 4 on toaster repair now. Will probably not add any more. lol

Okay, I got it to work on the toaster in the cave. I guess the toaster in Ranger Citadel is just for show and you can't repair it.

This topic is from last year, I'm not sure if those who posted in it are even aware of this topic anymore. Also this was from when the game was in a very early stage of the early access, so the loot drops were completely different.
