Corran Cain talks to me but won't join?

I'm so frustrated that I'm somehow the only person online with this problem. I disarmed the nuke at Silo 7 and have returned to the temple of the titan. Corran talks to me but won't join my squad, he starts to say he will then changes his mind. Nothing online says that it requires a certain charisma or anything. I only have 6 members currently. I don't understand why he won't join me. Anyone have any thoughts?

You want your Leader to Have 7 Charisma always , it opens possibility to get every recruit except Pizepi And Gary NACL Wolfe , also 7 charisma is great for leadership range

Who you can disarm the silo and still get an additional companion from the monks? Dam after to have read/hear the result of disarming (radio and log) I gave up come back and pushed further. If I knew I could have another recuits option I would have give a check.
