How do I leave a player behind and NOT follow the party

In the Hightower Underfround it says to leave a player behing to flip the circuts ( I hope I don't need to do them in order :( ) but when I single out a character ( in this case vulture) she follows whenever I single her out . How do I leave her behind to do the circuts?

There's a little icon on the far left above the character bag icon which toggles between 1 or 3 people. If it's 3 people your group will move as a group. If it's one person you can select a Ranger and move them independently. So you'll want that in single person mode, move your circuit ranger into place, then drag a box around the others with your mouse then you can move them as a group while leaving the one behind.

Note that the space bar will switch to single out a character for independent use.

great klyania thank you sorry supertrooper tried that and it didn't work as soon as I went back to party mode she followed. I'll use thee box that sounds like what I was looking for. thank you both for the replys
