You HAVE to borrow microscope from angel oracle, so the doctor at rodia discovers it might come from the farm well.
Then, even if you already visited the well, you must:
1: talk to rodia doctor that asks you microscope
2: go to angel oracle and fetch the microscope
3: go back to rodia, give the microscope to the doctor, wich discovers the plague comes from the well (oh well!!!!)
4: go back to the well, rediscover the cause is inn fact the well
5: go back to the doctor that gives you an hook to take out the corpse
6: go back to the well and take out the corpse with the hook
7: go back to the doctor and confirm the corpse is removed, then the doctor gives you a disinfectant.
8: go back to the well and pour the disinfectant in it
9: go back to the doctor and telll him you poured the disinfectant. Only at this point the quest is over and you get the cat litter.
Now this could have been written better. Something like:
A: the well is not interactible before yuo brng the microscope to the doctor.
B: if you can discover the well is the cause of the sickness the doctor would not need the microscope and you should have a dialogue telling him you discovered a corpse in the well straightaway.
As a doctor you would have thought that if a well had worms in it, a splash of disinfectant would of been necessary as well, but who knows, maybe the people of Rodia appointed him doctor because he had the brains, but not necessarily a doctors way of thinking. Could have been written better.
Another option could be the serum you get from AG center (if you still have a bottle), that would add more immersion into the story.
*shrug*
It took long enough to even find the clinic what with all the buildings being identical grey boxes and all the NPCs making a habit of telling me who I should see but not necissarily where to see them or what the overarching goal is. I guess bring down the Leather Jerks? But how?
Well I've been putting the jumble of puzzle pieces together in the hopes I see where any of this is going. I've got Beatrice locked in a brick shed, Biggun poisoned and a lump of C4 in a sack. There is a safe with an obvious drain pipe leading to it (put the C4 on that I guess?) where I can steal the recipe so I can... get some random guy killed for no reason?
I dunno it's a f**kin mess of a town. It's like playing multiple adventure game puzzles at once with no clear plan. Nobody tell me the answer though! This is something I need to do myself.
Sure the solutions to the puzzles seem to make no logical sense at all and I have no idea what I am trying to acheive anyway but all the same, gotta have pride!
