ANGELA DETH QUICK QUESTION
Angela will head back to the citadel at Canyon of Titan, after I completed the canyon, I went back to the citadel. I found her standing next to a display case, but I can't talk to her. Is it possblie to get Angela back as a follower?

Nah, she's there at the beginning primarily as a newbie assist.

Another of those weird design decision in this game. Angela has pretty much central role in any new party due to her level as well as her rock solid skill set (properly built and focused).

My first party that made it far enough to have her leave was left hanging with a huge gap I was not able to replace--my initial party consisted of AR user, blunt weapon melee specialist, sniper and brainiac medic/techie. Angela perfectly complemented my party with her combat skills and weaponsmithing. When she left, I lost significant portion of my firepower as well as ability to modify weapons for a long while till I trained another character in the skill.....

I just read that she is gearing up for a mission, and after I complete Damonta, I can get her back

You're not getting her back, sorry.

Start training up a follower to use assault rifles while you still have Titan and Damonta to use for XP.

Thats cool, I kept the modded M16 and all her stuff before she left, so I;ll have to start traing somebody else then. Thanks!

So, when we have OP question cleared out.

What other recruitable NPC is best suitable to take Angela's spot? Am I forced to train 2 of my 4 initial rangers to use AR from start? I have not found anyone who would be even close to her ability to kick a*s*s.

it was a huge surprise ( and not a pleasant one i must say :) since i've realised that Angela will never join back my squad and leave my team without her skills and firepower...she was VERY important member of my squad. faced with incoming battles with mighty robots when every trained soldier counts, and with a perspective to hire new teammate and spend A LOT of time for proper training. Naaaah :) i've decided to start a new game. and do not recruit Angela. well, the game without her became a little personal hell in the eaerly stages (AgCenter, damn rabbits, you know :) but i'm trying to hire someone else like Ralphie to train a formidable LOYAL substitute from the very beguinning. I think it will payoff itself later.

Recruitable NPCs have predetermined level, at which they will join, right? So technically, it does not matter whether I hire someone right from start or mid-way through Arizona as long as I can get enough experience for them to level up.

i could not even found her after titan canoyn mission.. maybe some bug.
Streletz Sep 30, 2014 @ 8:23am
yeah. thats the point. my team was all about 17-18 lvl when Angela left us. and recruitable NPC were about 5 or something lvl. (and most of them actually suck at combat skills and noone with AR skill) for me its a helluvapain to train someone when you're already have to fight powerful enemies

After she leaves at the beginning of the canyon, she can be found standing in the museum area of the citadel. but you can;t talk to her or do anything, yet, the perception magnifying glass shows up when you get close to her. Apparently you never get he rback, but you do find out after damonta what her mission is.

Understood, I would just hire Angela for her being so kick a*s*s and only hire 7th follower to replace her when I get to him/her. I just do not know who should I aim for since I havent found anyone worthy yet. I saved AG Center for Rose so Vulture is not an option, everyone else seems to be utter crap.

after the startover i've created my own "Angela Deth" (with blackjack and...:) as one of my starting team members instead of techspec (which i'm gonna train later)

Utter crap? yeah pretty much, I am just using Chisel, and another native american looking guy as pack mules right now. They do melee, but they are just around to store my extra sh*t until I can get back to the citadel to re-up and sell weapons parts.
