Radio tower in the Rail Nomad Camp...

So, where do I find the parts to repair it? Are they in the camp somewhere? Or is it something I'll find later and need to come back for?

I was also wondering about this very same thing. I see the tower, and it names off a specific list of parts needed to fix it, but I do not know if it is possible to fix it or not.

Okay, I'm thinking it's not possible if you save the AG Center or Highpool. It sounds like one of the two parts comes from each of those places when they're smashed. So it's probably if you let them both get destroyed, you use the Rail Nomad tower to make up for not having the one that's in each of those places.

Yes, it's a fallback for in case you don't save either of Highpool or AG Center.

I'm stuck here too. I failed both AG and Highpool and currently I have a Radio Controller Circuit, Radio Antena, Power Coupler and 2 x Repeater Units. The quest log states that I just need to attach a repeater unit and I am done, but when I attempt to do this in the Rails camp it says I need more parts, but I have no idea where I would get the parts.

Maybe it's possible to fail so hard that the game breaks? I've been stuck at this spot for a few days now and I'm at a loss on what to do next. Has anyone got the Rails Tower up and running?

Serious, non-snarky suggestion: Have you gone into your inventory and clicked "use" on the radio parts, targeting the tower? I haven't had to do this in Rail Nomad, but that's how you use the repeater, so I imagine it's the same deal for Rail Nomad tower.

You need to use controller circuit on nomad tower. However, you also need to power it up before attaching repeater unit which I have no idea how. The way they put it make it sounds like you have to reroute the power from Kebakha's generator but it doesn't appear to affect the radio tower once you flip the switch.

Yes, I can use the repeater unit on the tower, but once I use it it tells me "The generator is feeding the tower, but with its broken components, the control panel can't coax any signal out of it. Find some replacement parts to get it going again."

All of the other replacement parts have a "use" option, but not a "use on" or anything like that. So I can't use the controller unit on any object, nor can I use the antena. I could be missing a part, but I have visited and combed over AG and Highpool 3 times and I can't find any other parts.

Just right click on your hotbar and you'll see the option to select a part. Click it, then click the button so you're "using" that part, and click on the tower.

I just tried this; you need the actual quest for this tower to complete it. I'm currently on the Damora tower quest and using the repeater on this tower just repeats the flavor text for it that it must be repaired first.

Master Kekkabah has the coupler. I found out after I got frustrated with their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥...

However, it's no use without the Controller mentioned earlier. That you apparently only get by failing AGC and Highpool both; failing one and saving the other yields 1/2 of the tower parts.

Smart of the devs to include a backup like this, and have it fit so well thematically!

Yeah both of them are treated as "timed" events. Moment you walk into one zone the other dies. However if you leave the zone after beginning it then they will also die. It's to simulate the fact that these two zones are having a crisis that will imminently destroy them and there's no time to leave and comeback later.

Yep its mostly about deciding which companion you want in your party, a skill character or a combat character. You can adjust your 4 starting rangers to fit in which ever companion you want, either by making up another skill character to sub for AG center/medic or a combat character to sub for Highpool combat npc.
