*SPOILERS* Ag Center / Highpool

ok so this is my second play of the early part of the game. In the first play i did the ag center and got Rose and saved (most) of the day. The second time i did it I went through Highpool first and now everyone at the Ag center is dead and kathy is strung up by vines at the entrance. She tells me Rose is dead and all is lost yadda yadda yadda.

Is this just how the game is? You have to pick who you help and who you dont and there is no way to help everyone? Is Rose really dead? I was counting on her surgery skills when i made my team?

So just wondering if there was a way to save both?

ok i honestly like it that way. life is tough choices and sacrifice. Maybe tying it into the difficulty level would work... i play on Ranger and it seems to be the right balance of hard and fun.

This also gives more replayablity to the game... "Next time i will go save the veggie lovers instead!"

I feel better now that there is nothing i can do. Thank you.

now that i have went to ag center after helping highpool i see the reason for only being able to save one. However... i wanted rose dangit! this native american girl is cool but rose has good stats

People want games where decisions have consequences, don't they? Yup. Can't save both.

It's also possible to save neither, although between missing out on potential rewards and also presumably disappointing Gen. Vargas and being known as the Ranger Team Which Failed will probably not make the rest of the game any easier.

Consequences are good. Bad RPGs let you do everything in the one playthrough, I'm looking at you Skyrim with your leader of every faction game.

Ive played through AG a few times and noticed that Highpool failing is scripted based on how far along you are into saving the AG center. You could collect Rose as a companion first and then still go save Highpool if you wanted but you cant save both.

Saving both was a beta version bug.

And Rose leaves you if you try to leave AG before saving it.

and its confirmed that rose will leave you if you bail on AG? thats a good safe guard on that little bit of meta gaming.... i loved you rose... and that mechanical hand... it was so gentile and- oh sorry... this is a pg forum for a game that is probally a 17 or older...

on that note did they fix the ass filter? oh nope guess not.
