[SPOILERS] Second Microscope

I've been looking in the forum to find the answer if it's possible to get second Microscope. One for doc in Rodia and second for doc in Angels Oracle. So I've edited my .xml save file and replaced some junk for the Microscope. Did load the game and had it in my inventory, but while talking to the doc in AO I don't see any option to give that thing to him. Is there any clue for this quest?

You GET the Microscope from the AO Doc for the one in Rodia...

But there is another quest in AO where doc needs Microscope too (to heal dog)...

You dont need the microscope, somehow the cure appears in your inventory and you can cure blisterpaw. I think you talk to the doc at rodia and he finds the cure for you and gives it to you (after you spare the dog @ Angel Oracle)

I'm stuck here too. I've looked where I could think to, and tried talking to the doctor in Rodia, but I can't find a cure or another microscope. I think it's kind of silly you can't just ask for it back from the doctor in Rodia (or take it back).

If you talked to the people who were going to put the dog down you can tell them to leave it alone so you can find a cure.

Go talk to the AO doc about the dog and he'll eventually tell you he could cure it if he had the microscope you borrowed for the doctor in Rodia.

Once he mentions the microscope you should be able to return to the doctor at Rodia and be able to talk him into returning it.

Did you steal the microscope or convince him to give it to you? I had to steal it since I couldn't convinve him, maybe that has something to do with why I can't seem to get it back :\

I have the quest from the Doc in AO, but when I go to the Doc in Rodia... Nothing. No conversation option and no Microscope to steal. I went and did other quests, saved the game and came back in and still, nothing. I think this quest is broken.

Steal the first microscope, lvl40 all the way and still no second microscope or quest unlocking a second microcospe acquirement

You use the one and only microscope the first time you use it in Rhodia to help the doctor, you go back to the angel after curing the disease, then(at least in my playthrough) you stop the dog from getting put down. Asking the doctor about the cure will make him go:" I lent you the microscope, didn't you bring it back to me?"(which you didnt because the dr from Rhodia still has it) Then you go there, convince the dr to give it back, give it to the AO dr, BOOM CURE!

So in short , there is no "second microscope"(at least not one that I've seen). There's just the one that you share with two quests.

Went forth and back from AO to Rhodia 4 or 5 times, no such dialogue options.
So many many bugs in this game, I've got even an infinite xp loop + lockpicking skillbook in LA with Raji.
Damn i was expecting better ...

Might want to check your quest logs to make sure you did everything for the plague in Rhodia. I didn't run into this doing both those quests. The dog quest does not trigger until you completely cure the plague in Rhodia. At that point, you talk to the doctor after talking with the people and he will ask you about the microscope that he lent you. Again, you go back to Rhodia, the dr there doesnt want to give it back(because hes an figgit)you try to convince him to give it back. Then give it to the doctor of AO and blammo, a cure for the doge.

It's possible the quest broke for you somehow.

I've gone into Rhodia like a lawbringer ranger should do (and that was the guy from Rhodia ask the Rangers).
Stormed the bank first , spared the 2 clerks but they remained hostile; stormed the whole city afterwards, no civ casualty apart from distillery.
Saved mayor, killed Rhodia gang leader.
Got the first micro in AO, gave it to Rhodia doc, found the reason, cleansed the well, gave time to Rhodia doc , roamed the wastes, came back to Rhodia, he said 100% of Rhodia was cured.

Right, so when you go back to AO after solving the Rhodia plague, you should trigger the scene where they try to kill the dog.
You either talk to the people to stop it, or you let it carry on. When you talk to them, you can tell them you will find a cure. You talk to the boy who owns the dog and he should trigger something in your log book for a way to find the cure. Then to the dr's office, you talk to the doc about a cure and he will pretty much tell you:" So yea um, you still have my microscope, so if you could just get that back to me so that I can make the cure for that dog, that would be great...hmmmm yeah..." After that you should be able to go to Rhodia and get it back after talking to their doc(after some convincing naturally).

P.S. There's a way to the bank that doesn't involve going in the front door.

Exactly , and I got back to Rhodia and the Rhodia doc only have the Healing option.
(i've finished the Griffith park radio arc so far)
So, I really think quest is broken for me.
