How to edit your skills/attributes
Go to C:\Users\Your username\Documents\My Games\Wasteland2\Save Games
- Find the save you wat to edit, it will be in a folder.
- Open the folder and right click on a file ith .XML extension. Pick Open With > Notepad
- Press F3 to open a FIND window inside your notepad
- Type Coordination and hit find.
- First Coordination it gonna find is the coordination for your party member 1 aka main char.
- Abit to the right you'll see ex. <Value>6< - changing it, will lower or increase your chars coordination.
Here is a screenshot to help you understand how its done

- Hitting Find Next will find Coorination for you party member #2 etc.
- After you're done editing, save and close. Open this save ingame and you should have the values for skills/stats you have set.

Same is done with skills. Only skill values go up just like in your skill window, first 3 levels go up by 2, than 4 etc. So to have Barter at lvl3 it needs to have edited value of 6.
Also if you look close enough, you can see the skill names an values when you do a coordination search for your chars. They all are kinda grouped in a big block.

Hope this helps and stay away from Honey Badgers! =]

havent tried it yet and hopefully wont need to but could be very handy to avoid a restart due to a bad pick you made at character creation.

That's one thing that i've never liked about some old RPG's , having to make informed descisions that decide your fate without the information to make those choices wisely.

Forces you to read guide's and stuff

The big problem is that as a new player you have no clue what followers you will pick up in the future. Also another problem is that skills scale so quicky and unnaturally that having a low skill on someone is completely useless except for the absolute first parts of the game.

Most other RPG's does at least still have easy to pick locks further in instead of adding the unrealism that somehow moving to a new area suddenly everyone is godlike at making locks and traps

Thanks a lot. I will use this to manually link Brute Force to Strength and Perception to Awareness.

I gave my male lead character FemaleRanger_A_Head_F as a face, because I was annoyed males don't have access to gas masks. At least rangers don't, several male characters from Red Scorpions and MAD Monks have them.

that's why old rpg games are the best and if it wasn't for your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥' you wouldn't know what to do.take a look around people forgot how to make games.older games have stories that kept players interested in the game, you need that kind of thing. they don't make games that keep you interested in whats going to happen next. this generation got it's head in an iPhone, afraid to talk face to face with people, you would rather text a person standing right next to you than talk to them, the only thing that's improved in games(which i'm not really sure if its the computer are the reason or not)are the graphics. a real good story is what drives a person to play an rpg.

How about your characters' "CON" or Constitution value?
Is there a way to edit that?

I would imagine you find how much HP you have max, and Cntl+F on that number. here lets see if I can find it.

I'm doing DC though.

so I looked.

I can see where the Current hitpoints are stored,
<curHp>539</curHp>
and I can see
<luckyHitpoints>10</luckyHitpoints>

whichI assume is the bonus HP you got added on from LUCK

so for giggles I went and set that to 1000. on all my toons and saved it. Taking a while to save gimme 15 minutes to test it.

yup seems to give my toons 1000 extra hit points.
