Does pets lvl up?

I got 2 dogs and they are so weak that they just get killed instantly, so I was wondering if they level up with you?

Also, as you get dialogue screen with them, does higher skill in animal whisperer enable to adjust their behaviour or is the skill just next to useless?

Well, they are more like a fragile charisma/perceptiom/condition boost untill they die.
This is why they are quite numerous and easy to find.

OMG one more game not liking animals as if D:OS wasn't enough. The clue showing this, is how the game manage pets. In D:OS it's plastic puppet stuff with no life. So in W2 it's replaceable quick to die stuff with no life.

Pets, especially Goats are SO ANNOYING. They make so much noise every 3 seconds that i usually kill them myself just to shut them up.

In theory it's a nice idea but they just ruined it with the animal sounds.

I hate Goats. Too loud. I usually qucik turn my screen away so I don't hear their disturbing scream, or turn off my sound if I have to stay there for some reasons.

Can you elaborate? You perhaps mean talking with animals? Yeah yeah, but most are more human like in disguise. One crab, one cow eventually one dog, show some pet/animal loving otherwise it's mostly pure cold stuff.
