so i could use some information on this guy, people say he's not important and people say he is it would be nice if someone clould clarify for me if he is or isn't and or explain why i know he drops a medallion of sorts but if you let him live he comes up later in the campain people have mentioned? is this true? all information would be great as i've searched it up and found nothing haha

He followed me for a bit, helped me fight, than just vanished. I haven't seen him since.

I don't think he's important, he died in Arizona and I found him later in one of the L.A. locations. He died again there, and dropped the exact same owl medallion.

The only potential use for the medallion I've found was an safe in Canyon of Titan that says it has an owl design, but I couldn't use the pendant on it.

I immediately went to RNC on my first playthrough, went through countless quicksaves, timed saves and autosaves keeping that guy alive from the very start to the very end, he was with me everywhere. Still nothing.

He's dead in mine. He charged into an ambush and became the center of attention. He had a crappy drop. Some coin that's not eve a trinket.

His coin is used to open a chest in Canyon of Titan.

Right click on your hotbar and you'll see the coin selectable as an item to slot in. Click on it (so it's active, as with any skill) and click on the chest.

He's just a plant that the dev's put in to make players wonder, and question. He has no real purpose. They said so in an interview a while back

it's not selectable for me in the hotbar. all i can do is flag it as junk :(

If you have flagged it as junk once maybe it loses its properties?

I can't put it on my hotbar either and it's not flagged as junk. Tried it on every character and no dice.

so Owl of Minervahas no use? any one knows more?

I can confirm that always having the owl of minervah on one of my 4 original rangers and never flagging it as junk I was unable to put it in my hotbar to 'use'.

If you click on the owl for more detail there is some greek letters on it, and I think you could be able to figure out the keypad code from that, but I never could...so I used google, and found out that a lot of people were failing to figure it out too. That made me feel a little bit better about the dynamite I used to open the safe
