what is a good party composition?
hi all, i want to know what is a good party composition and which skills are useless and should be avoided?

i played divinity original sin for 80 hours and didnt even finish the second map... actually i just startet the second map and lost interest. i spend 80 hours to find out a party composition that works and to find out which skills are usefull and which skills are useless cause u can find them in gear or because of other stupid design decisions. some might say i got my money value out of it but i would disagre since the game leaves a bitter taste cause i couldnt beat it :/
i dont want the same to happen in wasteland 2 so pls give me a heads up :)

Have a Leader! Seriously give this guy a weapon with some decent range like an Assualt riffle.
If you give the Leader a short range weapon you have to also give him STR for HP's.

#1 Leader with Perception (quality of life thing) Riffle and demolitions (why because you get extra XP's off of disarming everything and with high CH he will level the fastest due to this so leader can be ahead by 2 levels!)

#2 Combat Medic with Riffle, High INT and give high AP, If you go to HighPool well you might have 2 snipers, I found with the High INT that the focus can shift to weaponsmithing if you go to Ag Center.

#3 A bruiser read bullet sponge, can give him Heavy Weapon, Shotty, melee weapon/grenades.
I was going to have this guy carry the rocket launcher but since Leader benefits so well from high CH and Disarming skill well use Bruiser to carry stuff but have at least a rocket on the leader and some nades.

#4 A looter, read your guy with a brain also that unlocks everything, if you give this guy a close range weapon your stuck having to also give him decent HP's. He needs a decent INT score to actually have enough skills otherwise your SOL on loots.

I prefer the medic to have a sniper riffle it keeps him out of the line of fire, nothing worse than the medic biting the big one ><

4 skills that are important you shouldnt play without are,

Leadership, gives better to hit chance
Weaponsmithing gives ability to add weapon mods that help some with to hit chance
Medic->you get shot up
Surgeon->Sometimes your chars face plant into the dirt

Basic RPG advice:

Minimize non-combat skill overlap. IE never have more than 1 character take any skill points in lockpicking.

WL2-specific advice:

Make sure every character has one skill point in TWO different weapon classes, and try to cover as many different weapon types with your party as possible. It's also best if one of the two weapon classes is an unarmed skill (because ammo scarcity is a ♥♥♥♥♥). Your characters will spawn with a weapon in their inventory if they have any skill points devoted to it--take advantage of that to get a wide variety of weapons.

Pick up Angela Deth at start, she has couple of useful skills like Weaponsmithing and Outdoorsman.

How many skills should you try to do per character? And should you max skills?

will this do for weaponsmithing or should one of my self created chars have weaponsmithing?
