Can't enter cache spots on map

So in running back and forth on the Arizona map for various quests I keep finding locations that just say "cache." However, when I cursor over them and hover no "enter" icon appears. I've tried loading and reloading, that doesn't change anything. I have tried walking over them repeatedly, that also does not do anything. How do I enter these caches and retrieve whatever is inside?

Caches are just for looting from the overland map. Only Shrines are locations, that you have to enter to reap the benefits of.

Thank you for the comments. I was confused about "entering" the location. However, I do have a couple that still say "untouched cache" and don't drop anything when crossing them. Oh well.

Same problem, a number of desert caches are not coming up with "loot cache" even though they are an "untouched cache", so far they seem to be ones on the edge of the map. Are they just empty? Will this effect the cache achievement, or do you just have to locate them?

Same. It's sad that developers were told about this issue OVER A YEAR AGO and still have done nothing about it. Having serious concerns about ever backing or supporting Inxile.
