Do radiation suit modifiers stack?
I just bought shoddy radiation suits from a trader and now have an opportunity to buy another set of them. Do the +2 Radiation Protection modifiers stack?

no they do not stack, strongest applies. You get a +2 suit early and as you progress in the game you'll upgrade to better suits in order to reach newer areas. You'll need ever in creasing radiation suits to bypass stronger radiation zones.
Basically the game's story is softlocked to rad levels, which kind of sucks when you've played Fallout in the late 90s/00s and already are used to these high expectations about what open world, good writing, and excellent RPG system are supposed to look like (and Wasteland 2 did it so well, btw, partly because lot of same talent worked on it as the original Fallout). It's biggest deviation from Fallout 1 & 2 being that version of being meatwalled off from the more linear storyline with no chance to progress beyond it. I mean you can still run around and explore somewhat, but basically no those rad suits are the way the entire story progresses, and that's done that way to lock you out of late game areas which you can only get to by finishing certain plot points to get the extra radiation suits that'll allow you to get there. I can't remember if the max level in LA is 6 or not, I remember 6 but could be 4 for the endgame areas. Suits don't stack. You replace the +2 with a +4 etc., like wearing a different set of armour.
