Fungal spore cure?

I did the Highpool assignment first, so AG Center got overrun. But now 5 of my team are infected with spores, and I am uncertain how to fix that.

I tried applying the AG center serum that you find there on one of my character, but that didn't seem to do any good.

Did I miss something when I went through that place? ... or are my chars doomed to walk as future pod people? :)

It's not implemented to work when you use the serum, yet. But the status effect doesn't do anything, either.

Yes, there is an impact! If you solved Highpool first and got infected by spores, you have to take your party to rail nomad. there is a special shrine where u can sacrifice the testicles of ur party members to get rid of that infection. but first you have to cosult the kadaitcha-man, he will bark at the holy ghost to recieve the spirit of ur sacrificed balls;)

If you save highpool first, once the AG is destoryed there is a spray gun in the lower left corner of the map, next to it there is a container with 10 shots fo the spore serum, dont use it until after you have completed all the side missions that pop up though, otherwise you wont be able to complete them.

I will tell you this, and this only. Get your outdoorsman ability up, and save the scientists trapped by vines. That is all, the rest will reveal itself. That is, if you did Highpool first.

How can i cure critical fungal infection (red symbol)? The Serum does nothing.

Edit: ive found the <statuseffect></statuseffect> Tags with this infection in the xml save file and deleted. works.

Does it still dont matter if my chars are infected by the mushrooms? I cant find the serum and i did AG first.

It's to be found out in the surrounding area of Ag Center. Look in the area surrounding the main door.

so the only part of the effect you placed in the game is that it tells us there is one.!?

Um, guy, you're replying to an 8 month old post.

If you let the spore infection go through it's course in the current version of the game, your character WILL EXPLODE.

Also, that plague at Darwin will permanently alter your character's stats, turn them all green if you let that also go through it's course. Get it cured or go green.
