Prison turrets bypass?

Ok, so there are two nasty turrets that insta-kill you at the prison entrance. How to destroy\disable them? There's a broken robot nearby but the part it is missing is nowhere to be found. So how to get past them?

Get the part.
You need to travel to the right location to get it. ^^
also theres another way, but try to find it for yourself.
Or go the easy way with the robot. ^^

There's two ways to get past those turrets. Either fix the robot or get invited in.

Can you be more specific where to find the part? I can't get invinited since I killed some Red Scorpions scum along the way. I've already encountered some robots at Abandoned Railway and back at Radio Tower, but there were no suitable parts.

It drops from one of the robots in Damonta.

Yeah, Damonta is the only place where you can get the tracks, I believe, so getting in the prison the hard way is just one of those long haul missions.

Isn't Damonta location supposed to be explored after Prison? Isn't the whole point of getting inside the prison is to bail some guy out who knows a way into Damonta? Sure, I can get +4 rad suit from hidden cache right away and go all the way to the east, but this kinda eliminates the point of getting into prison in the first place.

I found the track part needed to activate the robot from the Abandoned Railway site.

You can also get the track from a robot when they attack the radio tower.

Then you just need to disarm the mines...

You dude who will give you info about the rad suits isn't in the prison, he's the dude who owns the junk yard in the village before the prison. Getting in the prison is tied to an entirely different missions.

I didn't, and I just finished that whole area after getting sent there from prison. Maybe you got it randomly?

Ok, I reloaded older save and went to Abandoned Railway - robots there do indeed drop the track, but it's random. I still think this is a potential story block, the track should be findable near or in prison location 100%, not just as some chance random loot. Maybe devs should make those robots respawn as a random encounter on the map near Abandoned Railway, or something.

Also, I've found a reproducible bug there - if you hack one of those three slicer-dicer robots and it survives untl the end of battle, it self-destructs and prompts a start of another battle in which your're stuck indefinetly since there are no actual enemies left to make a turn.

I think there's a location in Damonta which will always have a track part available, but getting a track before going to Damonta might just be luck of the draw. Not sure if that "Abandoned Railway" site is going to be in the finished game, and the robots at the Radio Tower only appear after you've already visited and left the Prison.
